Sorry.

Okay so it seems like ALL I ever blog about is new recipes...owell.
I have to start eating healthy and exercising because I found out in December that I have some minor heart problems and Cholesterol through the roof!!! So the other day I bought some Turkey Breast Cutlets and I wasn't to sure how to cook them. They look like pork chops so I just Googled Pork Chop recipes and this is what I found. It was SOOOOO GOOD!! The sauce is amazing!!
4 boneless pork loin chops  (I used the turkey cutlets)
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 garlic clove, minced
1 can (6oz) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
    1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
    1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 cups cooked brown rice

    Preheat oven 450.
Sprinkle both sides of pork with pepper. In a non-stick skillet coated with non-stick cooking spray, cook chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Transfer to baking dish coated with non-stick cooking spray.
In the same skillet, cook garlic for 1 minute. Stir in orange juice, broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a boil. Remove from the heat. Pour 1/4 cup sauce over pork.
Bake, uncovered for 20-25 minutes, basting twice with the sauce.
Bring the remaining sauce to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Serve pork chops with sauce and rice. Makes 4 servings.

I also served it with steamed Carrots, Broccoli, and Cauliflower.

We will be making this again for sure!!

Also, real quick. Im walking in the Heart walk again this year and need team mates and/or donations!!  there is a link on the side of this page!! Thanks!!

    oh yeah!!

I made carmels! Sucessfully!!! I tried the other day and it was a huge fail!! They turned out like hard burnt carmels... ok so heres what you need.

2 cups sugar, 2cups whipping cream, 1 3/4 cups corn syrup, 1 cup butter (sweet cream, salted, sticks)
Mix all ingredients except for 1 cup cream
    Boil for 30 mins

    *IMPORTANT*
*use a pan with a flat bottom and a flat wooden spoon
*stir every one to two mins so it doesnt burn or stick to pan

after 30mins SLOWLY add remaining cream
*very slow so they dont cool to fast

boil into a firm ball stage
    245 - 248 on candy thermometer.

    grease your glass cake dish
pour carmels into and let cool 2 - 3 hours

Cut into squares (I use a pizza cutter)

Wrap in wax paper. (still trying to perfect this)

    Im really bad at this

    first.

I decided to start blogging this year because I always seem to run across random blogs via facebook and I have gotten so many craft ideas and recipes from people I dont even know and also from a few people I do know.

Ok, so today was a snow day I made some Wassel and Peanutbutter Cheerio bars!!

    Wassel.
1gallon apple cider, 4 cups cranberry juice (I use diet), 1-2 oranges, 2t cloves, 1 cup sugar,
2t all spice, and 1-6 cinnamon sticks.

Cut orange in half and poke cloves into it.
    Put all ingredients into crockpot.
Cook on high for 1 hour.
    Then low for 6-8 hours.

Peanut Butter Cheerio bars.... (I think thats what they are called)
1 1/8 cups sugar, 1 1/2 cups karo syrup, 2 cups peanut butter, 3 cups cheerios.

Bring sugar and Karo to a boil, boil for 1 Min.
Add Peanut Butter and Mix well.
    Remove from stove.
    Add Cheerios and mix well.
Put into a cake pan and flatten.
Let sit and then cut into bars.
